Tired Clichés
Every now and then you can believe the hype. This is quality comedy. TJ Dawe's one man show is a tight patter that culminates in a meeting at a crosswalk. Beautifully observed, viewer friendly details are delivered with joyous ease. Dawe's split-second tempo changes and transformations of character pull the audience into the jokes and allow them to laugh sympathetically. "Fuck You" as the ultimate birthday wish. Charm. The list of qualities goes on, but I fear that by the time you have this in your hands, dear reader, there's a very good chance that this baby's gonna be sold out.
