A Canadian Bartender at Butlin's
A main Fringe attraction since 1998, when he dived head-first into a pile of cardboard boxes at P Scene as part of his Tired Clichés show, three-time Frankie Award winner TJ Dawe is back with another sellout solo, A Canadian Bartender at Butlin's. The gifted Toronto raconteur is also involved in two other productions, The Power of Ignorance (as director and co-writer) and One Man Star Wars (as director).Unless you've already bought your ticket for Dawe's three-alarm tale of tending bar at one of Britain's infamous resorts, a sort of bargain Club Med for hoi-polloi, forget it.
